Our brand

The PAIACUS were indigenous inhabitants of the lands of the Lower Jaguaribe, in Ceará, the city of Caraúbas in Rio Grande do Norte. Belonged to the race Cariris, Indians were tall, strong and brave, and stubborn in the attacks impulsive.

The PAIACUS maintained a considerable social and military organization, working with small farmers, coarse pottery and slept in cotton hammocks and fibers.

With the increase and acceleration of the settlement made by the Portuguese, there was the war of the Indians, or confederation of Cariris. The PAIACUS where sorrounded in the Portalegre mountain, in RN state, and over the years were extinct.
